Rarely does an artist begin a career with such a defined sense of purpose and meaning. As he began painting late in life, Jing Nuan Wu had built a world of understanding that encompassed what was and still is a unique set of esoteric knowledge.

His advocacy for holistic medicine, and certainty that there is value to ancient healing techniques is still being borne out today, as more and more empirical studies conclude that the body is influenced by internal and external signals that had been dismissed by western medicine.
